Types of Tournaments
Would you like to compete against your friends and acquaintance of your favorite location, then the local tournaments or the operator tournaments could be from interest for you. This type of tournaments is organized by the operator of your playing location. What prize can you win? Well, be in for a surprise!
Is your aim to impress other players by the skills you acquired in a net.game, then the funcup fits best to you. Please note, sometimes you might even have the opportunity to compete in net.games within Global MASTERS tournaments.
Do you want to collect points to enter into the most important league of PHOTO PLAY players, the ALL-SPORTS-LEAGUE? In this case the MASTERS tournaments are what you are looking for. By the participation in Global MASTERS tournaments, you can collect score points while competing against players on a worldwide level.
Global MASTERS tournaments start generally on Monday and last from 3 up to 5 weeks. While the tournament is in process your MASTER Score, which is composed of your top 10 scores, will be updated twice a week. The best players will receive cups, vouchers or certificates (not available in all countries).
Is patience not one of your strongest points, and do you want to have a decision about “victory or defeat” within one day? Well, you should participate in our live tournaments. Seems that it is exactly what you are looking for!
Live Tournaments are international competitions which only run for a short time. The ranking list is updated in real time. Don’t miss out — the best players will receive a voucher (not in all countries available).

Please consider that PHOTO PLAY is available in three different versions. Depending on the version you can participate in the different kinds of tournaments, respectively use the different features.
1. Online — you can compete against opponents in different countries with real-time competition rankings (see also MASTERS, Multiplayer, Live Tournament).
2. Competition system/ MASTERS — it’s not just the playing that counts — competing is important too! The ranking listings are updated daily.
3. Offline — Beat your opponents in the local high score lists or in the local tournament
